I have free time again!!!

Oh, what a busy week we had last week! With soccer practice M-T-W, Classes at church T, Awanas Celebration W, quick trip to Auburn Th-F, and Saturday was final soccer games and a party for Joshua's team.
Gabriel receiving his trophy at his teams practice/party.

He had a really great time this year playing on the Eastside team. They did well as a team, but I have no idea what their overall win-loses were. In U-7 they still don't really keep score. Their party was after the last practice/scrimmage game on Tuesday.

Joshua getting the ball

He loves to play goalie. His team did awesome this year only losing one game I think. Next year in U-10 they will start having championships and all that jazz. His coach rented out the field at the sportsplex for the boys to have a parents vs. kids scrimmage game. We brought Costco cupcakes (thanks mom!) and some other parents brought snacks as well. All in all it was a busy but fun week.

Busy...Busy...Busy

We've been sooo busy lately...Soccer, Home School, Church, College, ETC...

Just wanted to say we're all doing good and show some pictures off...

Gabriel and this other boy both wanted to be goalie and everytime the other team got the ball they both ran towards the goal and left the other boy to play defense all alone....LOL

The other day I got bored and made this cake. We had a chocolate cake mix, but no frosting and me being the sugar adict that I am... got adventurous and made my own. It has choc. fudge on top and buttercream in the middle. It ended up tasting like a giant hostess cupcake....yummy!!! Lets just say it did not look this pretty for very long. We all had a slice after our dinner and then after the kids went to bed, Josh and I just dug in w/ a fork. I think I had some for breakfast the next day....Man I should not make cakes....

The last few days the weather has been sooo nice. A scourching 60+ degrees and I couldn't stand staying inside all day any longer. So, my friend Tara invited us over to run and play at her house. We all enjoyed it so much. They had a huge play structure, a sand box and lots of room to run. The boys even flew their kites, as the wind was starting to pick up. All the moms hung out, chatted and sipped coffee. Such a wonderful time. I can't wait until I have my own yard to do that in...Someday, right?

Oh and check out the kiddos' pages for more pics and other happenings around here :o)
